What does Watsu mean?
It is a contraction of WATer shiatSU.
What is the difference between WATSU and Shiatsu?
Basically, the Shiatsu movements are performed in water. This allows for a less stressful movement on body joints and muscles. Also the feeling of being in the womb, relaxing the mind state of the client, producing alignment of the body chi.
I have a bad back, will Watsu help me?
Depending on contraindications, Watsu helps to ease back pain when using aqua pressure points, gentle stretching and manipulation of the vertebrae, helps you to have more self-management with your condition.
I have very limited movement, can I have a Watsu treatment?
Watsu helps in a great way with the range of movement in all of us, some movement is limited depending on the clients medical situation, Watsu can release the stagnant chi within your body to give you more range movements with all your limbs.
